Cherry blossom

 

Cherries are in bloom! Get ready, spring is speeding up, there is a lot to do in the garden and there is no need for excuses for being able to be outside, no matter whether you are rural or urban. Have a perfect morning with some birdsong, take your dog for a walk on a sunny afternoon or just have a cheerful evening with your friends on the terrace of your favourite café with some fruity wine, you will definitely fall in love with spring this year again.
Spring is also macarons for me (though I could pick a few (okay: many) for each season). Maybe because of their flowery, delicate colours and irresistible crispy yet soft textures I especially have a taste for them in this fragile but exciting season.

Virágoznak a cseresznyefák! Kész, tűz, rajt, felgyorsul a tavasz, sok a kerti tennivaló és nincs is szükség kifogásra ahhoz, hogy a szabadban lehessen az ember, akár városi, akár falusi. Legyen az egy tökéletes, madárcsicsergős reggel, vagy kutyasétáltatás egy napos délutánon vagy egy vidám, barátokkal töltött este a kedvenc kávézód teraszán üldögélve, gyümölcsös borokat iszogatva, biztos, hogy idén újra szerelmes leszel a tavaszba.
Nekem a tavasz egyenlő a macaronnal is (bár minden évszakhoz tudnék választani párat (na jó: sokat)). Talán a virágos, lágy színeik és az ellenállhatatlan ropogós, mégis puha állaguk miatt is, ebben a törékeny mégis izgalmas évszakban különösen kívánom őket.
